Uniform is required for ALL dance classes. They provide a sense of unity and inclusivity within the classroom, and encourage students to carry themselves as dancers!

Remember, you set an example for all NVDA dancers and represent our studio!

 

Ballet

Clean buns must be worn for ballet – no exceptions! Black leos, pink tights and ballet shoes must be worn. Black shorts or skirts are permitted. No excess jewelry.

Jazz/Lyrical/Contemporary/Musical Theater 

Any style dance clothes; leotards, dance bras, form fitting leggings or dance shorts. Appropriate shoes are required. No loose fitting clothing or "street clothes"

Hip Hop

Sweats, tees, leggings or tanks are permitted. Clean sneakers must be worn

 

Dancers who forget dance clothes may borrow items from the office. Dancers who consistently come to the studio unprepared will not be permitted to take class

 

To promote Team unity, spirit, and uniformity, all Team members must purchase the Team warm-up.

 

All Crew members must purchase the required Crew footwear (style to be advised).

 

All Team members are expected to have proper dancer undergarments and their own hair and make–up supplies for competitions and performances
